We are one conviction away from enslavement

As the President stands and proudly sites the moral goodness of the founders of the United States, and as he encourages his base to “Make America Great Again”, most black Americans can hardly remember a time when America was ever collectively great. This is not a myth but an incontrovertible fact that many people do not stop long enough to think through.
